In 2025, STEM Incubators will be running classes for Year 7 and 8 students who wish to gain entry into a Selective Entrance High School (SEHS) in 2025 or 2026 respectively. We have been running this program for 4 years, and have had success rates of 71% and 100%.

Drawing from his achievements in programming and STEM, Rehaan excels at making complex concepts accessible and relevant for his students. Rehaan will be leading our Year 7 class.

Currently a high-achieving student at Melbourne High School, he has extensive experience preparing students for selective school exams and teaching mathematics, coding, and robotics. With multiple STEM competition wins and a track record of outstanding results, Sri brings innovative approaches to make mathematics both engaging and practical. Sri will be leading our Year 7 class.

As both a high-achieving Year 10 student at Melbourne High School and a former student of our program, Vishnu brings unique insight to our team. Over the past year, he has channeled his academic success into helping others excel, developing an approachable teaching style that resonates with younger learners. His recent experience allows him to provide relevant, practical strategies for mastering mathematical concepts. Vishnu will be leading our Year 8 class.
Izaan Ahmed Srambiyan
A high-achieving Year 10 student at Melbourne High School and former student of our program, Izaan combines recent experience with teaching enthusiasm. Throughout the past year, he has transformed his academic excellence into effective teaching, developing an engaging approach that connects well with younger students. His understanding of common challenges enables him to share practical strategies for success. Izaan will be leading our Year 8 class.
Zaina Salil
A bright Year 9 student at Mac.Robertson Girls' High School, Zaina brings fresh perspective as both a former student and current teaching assistant. Her recent experience mastering mathematical concepts allows her to explain topics in relatable ways, and creates a supportive learning atmosphere. Zaina provides flexible support as both an in-class assistant and individual tutor for our Year 7 and 8 students.
The Year 8 tutoring program focuses on Victorian selective entrance exam preparation through weekly practice exams and targeted review. We identify students' weak areas from test results and provide extra support in those topics, while reinforcing core Year 8 concepts they need to master. This ensures students improve both their test performance and overall understanding.
An Introduction for students to familiarize and practice key concepts, in order to best prepare for success in the SEHS Exam, the program covers concepts that extend out to later years of high school, and begin introducing students to the test styles they can expect to see.
